AI Data Processing

When you scan a receipt, the receipt image is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for automatic text extraction and parsing.

Receipt image (photo you captured or imported).

No personal information (email, name, account ID) is sent alongside the image.

To automatically extract store name, amounts, dates, and items from receipt images.

To provide faster and more accurate expense entry.

Data Processor: Google LLC (United States).

Data is transferred to Google servers located in the United States for processing.

Under the Gemini API terms of service, Google does not retain submitted images after processing is complete.

This transfer is protected by standard contractual clauses in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Google processes the image to generate text extraction results.

Please refer to Google's AI privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.

You can choose to enter expenses manually without scanning receipts.

The AI processing only occurs when you actively choose to scan or import a receipt image.

You may use the app without the receipt scanning feature by entering expenses manually. No AI processing occurs for manually entered expenses.
